Coinbase to List PayPal PYUSD Stablecoin: Zero-Fee Trading Announced
Big news for crypto enthusiasts! Crypto exchange Coinbase is adding support for newly launched PayPal stablecoin PYUSD. This marks a significant step in bringing mainstream financial institutions and digital assets closer together. Now, Coinbase has announced that it will list the PayPal PYUSD stablecoin, a notable development.
The official announcement, shared on the Coinbase Assets X account, stated that the PayPal PYUSD integration is coming soon. Trading will begin on or after 9AM PT on, if liquidity conditions are met.
Coinbase Offers Zero-Fee PYUSD Trading & 1:1 USD Redemption
Coinbase will provide direct buy, sell, and trade access to PYUSD with zero platform fees, allowing users to redeem the stablecoin 1:1 for U.S. dollars. The initiative will 1:1 PYUSD to USD conversions– Coinbase users will now be able to buy, sell, trade PYUSD with no platform fees, while also being able to redeem PYUSD 1:1 for US dollars. This offers a seamless and cost-effective way for users to interact with the new stablecoin.
This announcement highlights Coinbase's commitment to expanding its supported asset list and providing users with more options for managing their digital assets. The zero-fee trading further incentivizes PYUSD adoption on the platform.
