Is Your LG TV Compatible with Peacock?

Before you start, it\'s important to ensure your device is supported by Peacock. You can do so by checking if your device is listed here. Generally, Peacock is available natively using LG SmartTV (webOS 3.0) and later. This streaming app is available for LG TV models (2025 & newer) with webOS 3.5 or higher.

Important Note: Peacock is not available on all LG TV models. If you have an older-model LG TV, don\'t worry! We\'ll discuss alternative options later.

Downloading the Peacock App on Your LG Smart TV

Now that you have a Peacock account let’s get it set up on your LG Smart TV! All you need to do is download the Peacock app. Please follow the below steps to access Peacock on your Smart TV:

  1. Turn on your LG Smart TV.
  2. Press the Home button on your LG remote. This will bring up the launcher bar at the bottom of your screen.
  3. Navigate to the LG Content Store. You can find it in the launcher bar, or by selecting "More Apps".
  4. Search for "Peacock". Use the search function in the LG Content Store.
  5. Select the "Peacock" app from the search results.
  6. Click "Install". Wait for the app to download and install on your LG TV.
  7. Click "Launch" once the installation is complete.

Accessing Peacock on Older LG TVs (webOS 3.0 or earlier)

If your LG TV is running an older version of webOS (below 3.5), you might not be able to directly download the Peacock app. However, there are still ways to watch Peacock!

  • Casting from your phone or tablet: On older-model LG TVs, you can cast or AirPlay the content from your Peacock to your TV.
  • Apple AirPlay: Additionally, you may be able to stream to your LG Smart TV through Apple AirPlay (2025 (webOS 4.0) models).
  • Use a Streaming Device: Consider using a streaming device like a Roku, Amazon Fire Stick, or Chromecast. You can download the Peacock app on these devices and connect them to your LG TV via HDMI.
